The Pastry Cook is responsible for assisting their team with the preparation of high-quality pastry items such as breakfast items, passed dessert bites, elements for plated desserts, garnishes, and sauces. Assist our lead baker with bulk bread baking if necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Put away all produce/protein from daily truck deliveries.
  • Follow prep list with quantities.
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings to use in cooking.
  • Undertake basic cooking duties as your station requires.
  • Prepare simple dishes for cold station prep.
  • Maintain a clean workstation by minimizing clutter and practicing food safety.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
  • When finished with your prep for the day, jump in and help other departments if necessary.

The Event Service Manager is responsible for both staff oversight as well as the execution of the client and the Event Producer’s vision of the event. They manage and execute the event from setup to breakdown and take responsibility for the organizational, technical, and logistical elements of service. At an event, the Bartender is responsible for filling drink orders for guests, answering questions about drink ingredients, and making suggestions for different types of beverages and cocktails.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • TABC Certification
  • Required to attend all staff training sessions
  • Ability to take beverage orders from the wait staff and/or directly from guests
  • Complete knowledge of all drinks being served
  • Complete knowledge of drink preparation
  • Personal interaction with guests
  • Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered in compliance with company standards
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements in accordance with TABC laws
  • Determines when a guest should not be served additional alcoholic beverages in accordance with TABC policies
  • Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests

Event Staff is responsible for the setup of events, service, and breakdown of events. Set up can include setting up the tables, chairs, linens, place settings, as well as building buffets. During the event, wait staff are responsible for accommodating and anticipating the needs of the guests.

  • Sets up facilities for events including dishware, glassware, silverware, linens, and other amenities
  • Clean china and silverware
