shop crew
Shop Crew has many responsibilities including the loading and unloading of vans before and after the event, driving the company vans, supervision of the cleaning and storage of equipment at the end of an event, and responding to emergencies. In this role, you are with the event from the moment it rolls into action until the last plate is scraped and the doors are locked. As a result of this involvement, you have an excellent opportunity to guide others and you are ultimately responsible for the accurate completion of all the duties that must be accomplished at “the shop” after an event.
skills & Experience
- Required to attend all staff trainings
- Load equipment needed for event into the assigned van
- Leave shop according to time stated in the event file— punctuality is a must
- Ability to use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business
- Have a valid Texas state driver’s license
- Unload van upon arrival to event
- Pack and load equipment after the event has concluded
- Wash, dry, and store equipment in its proper home in the production supply room
- Lock and secure shop, storage sheds and vehicles
- Ability to interact with guests
- Ability to maintain alertness and attentiveness for entirety of shift
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with control and push up to 50 pounds with control
- Ability to work in diverse outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold
